Antique cast iron wedding fire back

This beautiful antique rectangular cast iron fire back is of the Louis XVI style. It was made for a wedding. Indeed, there are 2 names (surely those of the future spouses) inscribed at the top of the plate as well as 2 hearts intertwined in the center. This decorative fire back features a festive decoration in a double molded frame in relief: two branches of olive tree (symbol of immortality), ribbons, a laurel wreath, a torch and a quiver.
