French Restauration style antique stone fireplace

This French Restauration style antique fireplace was made of “Pierre de Buxy” stone (a natural stone quarried in the French region of Burgundy).

It has a carefully sculpted monolithic lintel resting on slender straight jambs. Full of simplicity, this beautiful fireplace comes from the city of Dijon, a French region reputable for the wealth and the quality of its raw materials, allowing famous former stonecutters to make wonderful stone works.

The good state of preservation of this more than 100-year-old fireplace is a real asset. This unique piece could add an authentic feel to your home.

This fireplace holds a Certificate issued by the French Ministry of Culture.
