Antique marble fireplace - Louis XIV

Louis XIV style antique marble fireplace.

It has a very beautiful keystone lintel with thoroughly sculpted details centered by a hand sculpted oval shaped medallion. The molded shelf is wide. The upper parts of jambs are sculpted with frames in relief whereas their lower parts have flutes and stop-flutes.

This stylish fireplace is made of Burgundy stone (Pierre de Bourgogne). It was salvaged in a house situated in the city of Autun in the French department of Saône-et-Loire. It highly demonstrates the wealth of this beautiful wine-growing region.

This fireplace holds a Certificate issued by the French Ministry of Culture and is in perfect state of preservation.

It has all the qualities necessary to brighten up your living space.
