French Restauration style antique stone fireplace

19th Century fireplace made of Comble stone was unassembled in a country house situated in the city of Bar-Le-Duc. It has console shaped jambs topped by an elegant low arched monolithic lintel. A beautiful molded ogee cornice tops the whole piece.

This French Restauration style antique fireplace reveals the skilled craftsmanship and the creativity of the stonecutter who made it. In fact, in spite of its beautiful imposing proportions, this fireplace remains very harmonious.

This antique fireplace is authentic and holds a Certificate issued by the French Ministry of Culture.

Beautiful work !
