Large cast iron fire back for fireplace: Coats of Arms of France

This large antique cast iron fire back features a lovely decoration with Coats of Arms of France.

The Bourbons family’s Coats of Arms are represented by a royal crown below which are three fleurs-de-lis highlighted by two large palm leaves. This motif is repeated in the center, but also on the 2 angles at the top of the fire back. 3 large fleurs-de-lis end the whole piece.

This 18th century fire back is cracked at the bottom right.
