Louis XVI style stone fireplace with trumeau
This beautiful antique cold stone fireplace features a trumeau.
It has straight fluted jambs, a monolithic rectangular lintel that forms a shelf, and a trumeau with a molded breastplate. The cornice is also very finely molded. The lintel offers sculptures of panels and triglyphs. This fireplace is very characteristic of the Louis XVI geometric style.
