Antique cast iron fireback: Coat of arms of Francis I of France.

This large antique cast iron fireback for fireplace features the Coat of Arms of France: Three fleur-de-lys topped by the royal crown also adorned with fleur-de-lys. The fleur-de-lys are topped by the the chain of the Order of Saint Michael and the chain of the Order of the Holy Spirit. Foliage and flowers showcase this Coat of arms of Francis I. A frame in relief and two fleurs-de-lys end the whole piece.
