In Roman mythology, the Parcae, 3 sisters (Nona, Decima and Morta) are the female personifications of destiny, they control the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal and immortal from birth to death.

They are generally represented while spinning the fate. Nona held the distaff, Decima spun the thread of life and Morta cut the thread of life
