Small Louis XIV style antique fireplace made of “Pierre de Jaumont” stone.

This beautiful Louis XIV style antique fireplace is small and very elegant with its warm-toned patina. It was made of  “Pierre de Jaumont” stone in the 17th century.

This lovely fireplace features a slightly arched monolithic lintel topped by a thin shelf. This lintel in animated with a Bolection style mold (very characteristic feature of this period). This mold runs along the jambs and highlights the beautiful hearth of the fireplace. The thin console shaped jambs rest on thick foot blocks.

This small fireplace will easily outfit small living spaces. It will certainly brighten up you winter evenings!
