Pair of antique andirons with volutes

This beautiful pair of antique wrought iron andirons features a neo-Gothic style. It was made around 1900. It offers beautiful details such as volutes and cone finials. The andirons have developed a beautiful patina over the years.

The andirons are used to support logs in a fireplace. That way, the fire is well ventilated and the logs can’t roll outside the fire. They also serve to nicely decorate the front of your fireplace.
