Large ancient stone planter for outdoor use

This old rectangle stone trough could now be turned into a large size sturdy flower planter. It will adapt perfectly to the layout of any outdoors (terrace or garden).

Large and robust, this old monolithic trough has a nice patina and a beautiful natural wear of time. This is what gives it this unique rustic charm.

This trough was originally a food-pantry, as evidenced by the marks still showing on the upper part where the lid (often made of wood) was nailed. It was used to preserve certain foods and to protect them from light, dust, moisture and rodents !
