Early 19th Century antique fireplace in stone

Beautiful French Restauration style (19th C.) antique fireplace made of Auvilliers soft stone, salvaged in a countryside village situated in the French department of Meuse.

This handsome fireplace is full of simplicity. Its corbeled jambs are topped by a monolithic lintel sculpted with a shield. The shelf above the frieze is also very simple. This beautiful item reflects the taste of the owner of the country house.

This very modern style fireplace can be placed in a modern house. Its low price is another great asset. Its authentic appearance will definitely brighten up your evenings with a roaring fire.
