Louis XIV antique stone fireplace with trumeau

Wonderful late 17th Century, Louis XIV style antique fireplace made of Savonnière stone.

It is composed of a beautifully molded breakfront cornice fitting the shape of the simple trumeau. The thin shelf above the frieze is part of the whole simple monolithic lintel. It rests on slender tapering and sloping jambs.

This timeless fireplace is in perfect state of preservation.  Its outdoor exposure doesn’t maintain correctly its beautiful patina but our specialist will easily give it back its lovely original colors.

This beautiful fireplace is a unique piece and holds a Certificate issued by the French Ministry of Culture.
