French 19th Century hard stone fireplace

Late 19th Century antique fireplace made of Tavel stone. It was salvaged in the bedroom of a mansion house in the French region of Luberon.

Full of simplicity, this fireplace is composed of thin and straight jambs resting on thick rectangular foot blocks. The lintel and the shelf that protrudes over the lower part of the fireplace were carved out of a single block of stone. This fireplace has a slender shape even with its rounded angles on the upper part of the hearth.

This modern fireplace will be perfect for your home no matter your decorating style. Its low price is another great asset!
