This unique piece dates back to the 17th century and features all the characteristic features of the Louis XV style. The pair of monolithic console-shaped jambs rests on foot blocks. They are animated by fluted motifs. The molded low-arched lintel highlights the beautiful hearth line of the fireplace. This lintel is finely sculpted with panels and centered by a beautiful palmette. The thin shelf follows the movement of the lintel.
