Louis XIV style antique hard stone fireplace

This well-proportioned antique fireplace has a rustic appearance. It was made of a white-toned hard stone in the 17th century.

It has all the characteristic features of the Louis XIV style: Thin monolithic foot blocks, thin console-shaped jambs, beautiful molding that runs along the hearth line.

The monolithic lintel features beautiful decorative details: excavated side panels centered by a beautiful hand-sculpted rosette. The cornice is also finely molded and features other moldings all along the edge.

This elegant fireplace will certainly brighten up your winter evenings with a roaring fire!
