Antique rectangular stone trough with patina

Wonderful antique rectangular trough made of hard stone. We can still see traces of iron hinges on its edges that were used to hold a wooden door to keep the food dry and to protect it from the light. Indeed, this trough was initially used as a larder. It’s more or less the ancestor of the fridge! Its faces have a rustic bush hammered finish. Why not use it as a flowerpot ?
