French Louis XVI stone fireplace finely hand-carved
This antique stone fireplace is an elegant Louis XVI fireplace dating from the 18th century.
It presents a pair of fine jambs that rest on thick foots and end with a kind of "modillon" carved with 2 flutes. The lintel that makes tablet is also thin and monolithic. It is embellished by a carved molding underneath the tablet.
