Antique stone wall fountain with nicely molded basin

This wall fountain in reclaimed stones is a one-of-a-kind garden fountain hand-crafted in Provence using authentic antique stones. These stones have a lovely weathered and aged patina with moss or lichen growth.


The tall and rectangular pediment with moldings on both sides is designed to stand against a wall and is fitted with an old water spout in wrought iron. It is topped by a classic ogee cornice with nice fine moldings.

The imposing basin is made of thick overhanging basement stones on which rest massive coping stones. These copings are quite exceptional as hand carved with a concave and topped with a thick mold.

This charming fountain in reclaimed stones, typical of village or manor house garden fountains, is reminiscent of a rustic French Provencal garden fountain.
