The central, dominant feature, is in fact a reclaimed stone spiral staircase. It is designed, so the water can flow down the spiraling steps into the basin below.

The circular basin is rather large but quite shallow (35 centimeters high). It is made of thick and rustic-cut stone blocks slightly rounded on the top.
