Superb wall fountain in stone with sculpted fish as water spout
This large and beautiful wall fountain is an exceptional fountain hand-crafted in our stone cutting atelier located in the heart of Provence with authentic old stones, reclaimed old stones bearing a beautiful natural patina of time.
This garden fountain in weathered stones features a wide rounded basin formed by 5 large and thick curved stones. This basin is quite sober and contrasts nicely with the finely sculpted stonework pediment. Indeed, the latter flanked by molded corbels is composed of a beautiful apparatus of stones and offers a magnificent water spout : a huge fish (also called dolphin) hand sculpted in stone. This water-spitting fish (80 cm high) rests on a molded base and is highlighted by a beautiful carved niche topped by an arched lintel with fine moldings.
