Antique rustic trough in worn and patinated stone

The type of stone trough was once very present in the rural world and was generally used as a manger to feed pigs and other farm animals.

Directly hand-carved into a massive block of stone, this long but shallow limestone trough could now be diverted into a rustic decorative object. Generally transformed into a planter, a trough can also be used as a fountain.

Beautiful natural patina.
