Large antique trough in massive stone with pretty patina of time ** SOLD

This old stone trough with a nice country-style is a large-size rectangular trough in stone.

It was made in a hard limestone. Its rustic appearance and its beautiful patina of time make it a charming and unique object, ideal to decorate your outdoors : either used as it is, or diverted into a robust planter or transformed into a fountain with the addition of a pediment and a water outlet.

This antique trough was used as a food-pantry. Food was stored inside so it could be kept away from light, humidity and rodents !
