Wall fountain in weathered-by-time natural stones

This large garden fountain is an artisanal creation and a unique water feature crafted in Provence using weathered-by-time natural stones.
 

It features a fairly low rectangular basin made of large and massive basement stones, topped by thick and flat copings. This basin is fitted with a pair of metallic bucket rest bars.

The tall stonework pediment is animated by beautifully hand-carved motifs and is fitted, in its center, with an old wrought iron water spout with forged volute. Note the finely molded coping stones, the pair of corbels carved with volutes, the 2 columns with molded capitals highlighting a recessed plastron, and the imposing yet refined overhanging cornice ! This large cornice carved in a curvy shape is also finely molded by hand.
