Antique stone well with roof topped by a metal rooster
This antique stone well is very beautiful and looks like a tiny house.
It is composed of a sloping roof made of wide and thick stone slabs with patina. Those slabs hold together by big and resistant metal hooks. The originality behind this roof is that it is topped by a wonderful wrought-iron rooster placed on the ridge. A funny way to remember old whirligigs!
The lower part was assembled with stones. The entrance features a beautiful beveled rim. This well is in perfect working order. It is sold with its solid wood reel, its wrought-iron chain links and its metal crank handle.
This well is displayed in our 3 hectares landscape park. Don’t hesitate to contact us, mail us or come and visit us from Monday to Saturday.
