Fountain in aged and patinated stones : a wall-fountain of large size

Although not very tall this ancient stone wall fountain has a large pond measuring 2.3 meters wide by 1.6 meters deep ! With its thick and massive base stones and its beautifully rounded copings, this rectangular basin is quite impressive. We'll also note the angles cut into the mass which demonstrate all the know-how of the stonecutter.

The upper part of the fountain is made up of various sculpted elements: a pair of corbels which rest on a molded pedestal, a pediment in stone, a molded plastron which highlights a beautiful antique wrought-iron water spigot, a large cornice with moldings.
