Wonderful antique finely sculpted stone planter

This wonderful antique rectangular vase is made of hard stone. It has a grey color and a mottled appearance with a tapered shape. It features beautiful moldings and a natural patina. The whole piece sits on a thin molded base. One of its sides was beautifully hand-sculpted with a floral motif.

Please note that this piece is unique and was carved out of a single block of stone by a stonemason. This stone was cored and hand-dug.
