This pair of antique entranceway pillars is made of Savonniere stone (a natural stone carved out of quarries situated in the East part of France). Those pillars have beautiful slender shapes. Each one is composed of a monolithic stone base topped by a square body with beveled edges. Each headpiece is molded and sculpted with a girdle and a cavetto.
