Louis XVI style antique Burgundy stone fireplace

This Louis XVI style stone fireplace was made by a Burgundian craftsman in the 18th Century. It was carefully carved and sculpted and entirely made of Burgundy stone carved out of Côte d’or quarries. This fireplace is still in perfect state of preservation!

It is composed of two quit high console-shaped jambs with beautiful flutes resting on monolithic foot blocks. The lintel and the shelf are also monolithic. The rectangular lintel has hand-sculpted protruding rosettes just above corbels and is animated with central flutes and stop-flutes.

This beautiful antique fireplace will warm up your home and will add an authentic feel in your living space.
