Ancient long and narrow trough in rustic stone

Witness of our rurality, this trough made of ancient stone used to serve as a manger for farm animals. Made of massive stone, these troughs, often longer than wide, were dug by hand by the local stone cutter thus demonstrating all the know-how of our ancestors anonymous stonecutters.

This beautiful ancient trough of large size (more than 1.6 meter long) is shallow and quite narrow. It has a beautiful natural patina and a beautiful rustic look.

From now on, this pretty antique stone trough could become a beautiful and solid stone planter.
