Reclaimed terracotta tiles from Provence

Lot of reclaimed terracotta parefeuilles : old terracotta tiles of rectangle shape and light colors (straw yellow and pink).

The "parefeuille" is a terracotta tile of rectangular or square format typical of Provence. These ancient and authentic "parefeuilles" were handcrafted in Provence in the 1850's - 1900's. They were originally laid on the roof under the canal tiles. Nowadays, they are re-used as floorings with an inimitable patina !
