This antique larder in stone (we can still see the marks on the top edges where the wooden lid was attached to keep the food dry and be protected from light and rodents) has a rectangular shape and a rustic and brushed appearance on all of its sides.
This old monolithic stone trough could now be transformed into a sturdy planter. It is deep enough to plant, for example, an olive tree, a lemon tree, bamboos or any other decorative plant or shrub.
It could also be used as a fountain basin by adding a small pediment and a pretty water outlet.
