Large old solid trough in patinated and time-worn stone

This ancient large rectangular massive trough was carved out in a type of hard limestone.

The bush-hammered appearance on its flanks gives it a rustic and country-side look.

Its large capacity makes it an ideal container to be transformed into a sturdy and ecological planter and thus accommodate small fruit trees (lemon, orange, olive, etc.) or even bamboos. But this massive old trough in stone could also be turned into a fountain by adding a pediment and a beautiful water outlet.
