Antique red marble fireplace with white veins

This beautiful antique 19th century - Louis XIV style fireplace is made of red marble veined with white. Beautifully molded, this rounded fireplace features a low-arched hearth. It is very beautifully and entirely molded with a bolection molding. The thin shelf and thelintel are also molded. The lintel is decorated with frames in spandrels. The jambs are strong and straight and rest on foot blocks.
