French circular stone well and its wrought iron well top

This well crafted in stone and wrought iron is one of the kind. It has been made by hand in our stone cutting workshop in Isle sur la Sorgue (Provence) using ancient materials.

The round base is in natural paired stones (a hard white natural limestone). It consists of a base then 3 rows topped by wide and thick copings. The well top is in iron. It has 4 pairs of square iron branches that join at the top in a dome adorned with a pretty decor of forged scrolls and raised by a metal ball. This well is sold with its pulley.

This stone well, on top of being a beautiful element for the decoration of your garden, would also be perfect to draw water with a touch of nostalgia !
