Old semi-openwork wrought iron chapel door

This old wrought iron door was found in an old chapel in Provence. It is beautifully hand-forged by a master craftsman !

Its frame is in solid square iron. Paneled on a third, the bottom part is decorated with embossed forged rosettes at the 4 corners and a larger one in the center. The upper part of this door, opened on the remaining 2 thirds, offers a magnificent hand-forged decor : scrolls, plants and flowers, crosses, pearls, and in the center the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei).

A unique and beautiful piece that will enhance your home !

Note that the lock will need to be restored.
