Louis XIV style antique stone fireplace

Antique fireplace made of Chaillon stone quarried in the department of Meuse. This beautiful Louis XIV style fireplace was salvaged during the demolition of a stone house situated in the city of Bar le Duc.

Thin and slender console-shaped jambs topped by an elegant lintel with a molded shelf. The jambs sit on thick foot blocks and feature beautiful sculpted flutes. The lintel is animated with various hand-sculpted motifs: inset panels and central oval medallion.

This very beautiful and elegant fireplace will definitely brighten up you living space.
