It features a thick keystone lintel animated with an elongated molded median cartouche. This long and massive lintel rests on bedsteads, themselves supported by a pair of tall and thin console jambs, sitting on cubic plinths. The thick stepped shelf is elegantly molded, adding refinement and character to the ensemble.

The trumeau, added by the previous owner around 1980, is made of veneered stone and topped by a finely molded cornice.
