Beautiful Louis XIV Style antique mantle made of red marble richly veined with white. It dates back to the 19th century.

It features a depressed arch hearth opening. The shelf, the lintel and the jambs are molded. This mantle rests on a plinth.

The mantle is highlighted by a thick molding called “Bolection molding”. This molding is characteristic of the Louis XIV style.
