Antique Louis XIII gothic style stone mantle

This wide Louis XIII style antique mantle features a keyed lintel with sculpted breastplate. Its two corbeled jambs offer beautiful sculptures on their upper parts: one representing the arms of the family and the second, a heart. The sculpted hearts on the mantles indicate that they was offered to celebrate an engagement.

This mantle is topped by a superb Gothic style cornice with beak molding.
